Refund policy
At CarrieAway, each piece of jewelry is handcrafted with care, using delicate glass materials. Due to the fragile and unique nature of our creations, we do not accept returns for change of mind. Please choose carefully before completing your purchase.
1. Damaged or Incorrect Items
We do our best to package each order safely, but if your item arrives:
· damaged in transit,
· defective, or
· different from what you ordered,
please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@carrieawayglass.com.
Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging.
If your request is approved, we’ll provide return instructions and either issue a refund, repair, or replacement depending on the situation.
Please do not send items back without contacting us first - unsolicited returns will not be accepted.
2. Non-returnable Items
We do not accept returns or refunds on:
· Custom or made-to-order pieces
· Sale or promotional items
· Earrings (due to hygiene reasons)
· Items damaged due to misuse or handling after delivery
3. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If your item is eligible for a return under this policy, you may place a new order once the issue is resolved.
4. Refunds (If Approved)
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note:
· Shipping fees are non-refundable.
· Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at hello@carrieawayglass.com.
5. EU Customers – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is being shipped to a country within the European Union, you are entitled under EU consumer law to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason.
To qualify for a refund, items must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
This right does not apply to custom-made pieces or earrings (for hygiene reasons).
